Inaugural conference

At the Argentine technical Association of Ceramics’ inaugural ceremony, held on September 5, 1962, at the Department of Industry and Mining, after some words from the Undersecretary of Mining, Enrique Jorge Stegman, the geologist Dr. Natalia Rossi, gave a speech announcing the discovery in Patagonia of a new, unique type of clay, with high proportions of cristobalite and halloysite, whose findings were presented to the Sorbonne University in Paris and the international Ceramics Congress in France.
